Tencent's QClaw Begins Major Internal Testing, Deeply Integrates with WeChat as Local AI Agent
Tencent AI has officially announced that more internal testing slots are now open for QClaw, its locally-run AI assistant built on the OpenClaw framework. Designed as an accessible smart agent (AI Agent), QClaw emphasizes local processing and simple setup to deliver a secure and efficient automated office experience for users.

Key Upgrade: WeChat Sync & Mobile Control
The standout feature in this update is deep integration with the WeChat Mini Program. Using WeChat Sync, users can now:
Issue Remote Commands: Send instructions from the mobile app directly to your computer via the WeChat Mini Program.
Transfer Files Seamlessly: Move files back and forth between your phone and computer with ease.
Preview Multi-Modal Features: The official preview mentions upcoming support for voice input and image recognition.
To tackle "command anxiety," the new version introduces the Insights Hub. This feature replaces complex manual prompts by automatically suggesting relevant skills based on your current context, allowing for "one-click activation" of entire task workflows.
QClaw is built on a "local-first" principle, keeping all data processing on the user's own device. To make advanced AI agent technology approachable, the developers have enabled a "zero-configuration" installation that requires just three simple steps, bringing powerful automation into everyday office use.
QClaw is currently available for download in China with ample internal testing invitations. Interested developers and users can apply for access on the official website to get an early start with their 24/7 digital assistant.

Finally! A local AI agent that actually integrates with WeChat? No more waiting for cloud servers to respond 😅 But I'm a bit skeptical about privacy – if it's 'local' but still deeply tied to Tencent's ecosystem, how much of my data stays on-device? Hope the internal testers spill some real details soon 🤞
