Tencent Unveils Ardot, AI Design Agent That Turns One Sentence into Drafts and Code with One Click
Tencent Cloud has launched its in-house AI design platform, Ardot, for public testing. The company describes the tool as an "AI-driven product, design, and research collaboration platform" designed to bridge communication gaps between product, design, and development teams.
A key feature of Ardot is its ability to generate editable design drafts from a single sentence. Whether for an app page, website, poster, or PPT, the AI can rapidly produce designs based on user instructions. This significantly streamlines the initial visual concept phase and boosts design efficiency.
Team Component Library Support and Seamless Compatibility with Major Design Tools
To address enterprise standardization requirements, Ardot enables teams to use their own business component libraries. This ensures that every AI-generated design draft automatically adheres to internal visual standards and design specifications.
Additionally, the platform offers strong compatibility, including direct import of Figma files. During import, Ardot preserves the original file's layout, styles, and component data, allowing designers to transition workflows seamlessly.
Connects the Entire Development Process with Multi-Device Collaboration and Real-Time Annotation
For backend development, Ardot is highly code-friendly, enabling one-click design-to-code conversion. Design detail data can be imported directly into CodeBuddy for code restoration, and it also supports popular IDEs like Cursor.
To improve team collaboration, the platform supports real-time online comments, annotations, feedback, and version comparison. Reportedly, the WeChat mini program version of Ardot is nearing launch and will deliver a more convenient mobile collaboration experience.
