Tencent Cloud Unveils Upgrade and Switch Plan for Select DeepSeek Models

Tencent Cloud has announced significant updates regarding the DeepSeek model on its intelligent agent development platform. According to the official notice, starting from May 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM, three older model versions — DeepSeek-V3-0324 (with dedicated concurrency), DeepSeek-V3.1-Terminus, and DeepSeek-R1-0528 (with dedicated concurrency) — will no longer support API calls. Users currently relying on these models should migrate promptly to maintain service continuity and stability.
To better serve user needs, Tencent Cloud will introduce new model versions that deliver equivalent or improved performance in terms of effectiveness, inference latency, and other key areas. This upgrade is designed not only to advance technical capabilities but also to offer users a more efficient and seamless service experience.
