Shanghai Pilots AI Security Oversight Initiative

Amidst the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, Shanghai is actively advancing the implementation of AI safety governance, aiming to further strengthen corporate safety management capabilities. Recently, the Shanghai Internet Association convened its 5th General Assembly and the 6th meetings of its Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee. During these sessions, the Association officially established an Artificial Intelligence Working Committee and launched a pilot initiative titled "AI-Powered Safety Governance."
At this meeting, Shanghai Mole Network Technology Co., Ltd. was appointed as a Vice Chair unit of the Artificial Intelligence Working Committee, actively participating in the launch of the pilot project and related thematic discussions. Notably, during the pilot launch ceremony, Mole Network demonstrated an AI red teaming agent named "Elliot." This agent is designed with capabilities that align with regulatory scenario requirements, enabling it to integrate effectively into the governance chain and provide robust technical support to relevant authorities.
During the meeting, Luo Qinglan, CEO of Mole Network, delivered a keynote speech titled "The Future Attacker." He explored the evolving attack and defense landscape driven by AI and the ensuing security governance challenges. He emphasized that as AI technology becomes more pervasive, both attack methodologies and defense strategies are in constant flux, necessitating that enterprises proactively plan their security measures to mitigate potential threats.
