Segway's most powerful robot mower is ready for yards of all sizes

The robot mower industry is sprouting faster than a spring lawn, and Segway has just rolled out a new contender: the Navimow X3 Series. Designed for both residential and commercial use, this series promises to revolutionize how we think about lawn care.
With the ability to handle up to 2.5 acres, the X3 Series offers four models that range from 0.4 to 2.5 acres in coverage. These machines are engineered for efficiency, capable of tackling up to 1.25 acres in just 24 hours. They're equipped with ultra-fast charging capabilities, allowing them to cover up to 0.3 acres on a single charge. Imagine coming home to a perfectly manicured lawn without lifting a finger!
"The X3 Series isn't just about efficiency—it's about transforming how Americans maintain their lawns," exclaimed George Ren, CEO of Segway Navimow. "We've packed it with pro-grade technology so users can reduce labor input and enhance their lawn care experience, whether it's for their home or business."
Segway's Navimow X3 Series boasts a six-blade anti-clogging disc, which ensures peak performance over large areas. What's more, these robot mowers navigate without the need for boundary wires, thanks to advanced navigation and obstacle-avoidance technologies. Segway employs a dual-antenna RTK algorithm to avoid dead-signal spots, even under tree canopies.
The system utilizes vSLAM and Visual Inertial Odometry (VIO) for pinpoint accuracy, bolstered by three wide-angle cameras and a time-of-flight (ToF) sensor. This setup provides a 300-degree field of view and sophisticated visual recognition algorithms that can identify over 200 objects. Whether it's navigating around a tree or stopping for a curious pet, this mower has got it covered.
The Navimow X3 Series is now available in the US, with prices starting at $2,299. Here's the full lineup with their respective prices:
- X315: $2,299 (0.4 acres)
- X330: $2,799 (0.75 acres)
- X350: $3,499 (1.5 acres)
- X390: $4,999 (2.5 acres)
Segway isn't new to the robot mower game; the X3 Series joins the existing Navimow I and H Series. I'll be putting the X3 Series through its paces over the next few weeks and will share my insights in an upcoming update.

Wow, the lawn mower space is getting crowded fast! 😲 The Navimow looks cool, especially the size coverage. I remember when robot mowers were like expensive toys for tiny gardens. If Segway makes them affordable for larger commercial plots too, could be a real disruptor in landscaping.
This Navimow X3 sounds like a game-changer for big lawns! I’m impressed by its 2.5-acre range, but I wonder if it’s quiet enough for late-night mowing without waking the neighbors. 😅 Worth checking out!
