Enhance Your Audio Overviews
We've been thrilled with how much you all love Audio Overviews, and we're adding a couple of cool new tricks:
- Guide the Conversation: You can now give instructions before generating a "Deep Dive" Audio Overview. Whether you want to zoom in on certain topics or tweak the expertise level for your listeners, it's like handing the AI hosts a cheat sheet before they hit the airwaves, shaping how they'll discuss your content.
- Background Listening: Keep the Audio Overviews playing while you work within NotebookLM. You can ask questions, check citations, and dig into relevant quotes without pausing the audio.
To give it a whirl, just follow these steps:
- Head over to NotebookLM
- Start a new notebook
- Drop in at least one source
- In your NotebookLM guide, hit "Generate" for an automatic Audio Overview or "Customize" to set your instructions for the AI hosts
Remember, Audio Overviews are more like a chat based on your sources and any tweaks you make, not a full or unbiased rundown of a topic.
