Meituan has officially launched the 2026 "LongCat Large Model Internship Program," aimed at full-time master's and doctoral students worldwide to recruit top talent in the large model field. The program is built around Meituan's foundational large model team, LongCat, which focuses on AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) research and development. Key areas include base model algorithms, infrastructure architecture, Agent applications, and visual generation.
The LongCat team prioritizes "implementing technology in real-world scenarios." Its open-source model portfolio achieves full-modal coverage, featuring models like the 560B parameter hybrid expert model LongCat-Flash-Chat and the end-to-end full-modal model LongCat-Flash-Omni. These models have seen over one million downloads within seven months of release. Interns will engage deeply in industry-level projects, receive one-on-one mentorship from leading experts, gain support for publishing at top conferences, and enjoy competitive compensation. Exceptional performers may secure direct entry into Meituan's core talent initiatives.
