Meitu Unveils RoboNeo Upgrade with Agent Teams for Image Creation

On April 29th, Meitu announced a major upgrade to its image AI Agent, RoboNeo, officially launching the industry's first image creation Agent Teams. This strategic shift moves Meitu's AI applications from standalone tools to a multi-Agent collaborative system, designed to offer a full-chain, systematic image creation solution for individual creators, content teams, and solo entrepreneurs.
To tackle the "generalization limitations" of broad AI models in specific fields and the "internal friction" of switching between multiple tools, RoboNeo enables deep integration from creative inspiration to asset production, format alignment, and brand asset management. This is achieved through role-based division among its AI Agents. In key areas like AI short films, self-media, and e-commerce content, RoboNeo can automatically adapt to user preferences and brand style, drastically reducing tedious tasks like manual editing and parameter adjustment.
As the AI industry shifts from "single-modal competition" to "vertical application ecosystems," Meitu's upgrade signals that image creation is entering an "AI-native workflow" phase. By integrating scattered creative steps into collaborative Agent teams, Meitu not only boosts AI's effectiveness in complex business scenarios but also redefines the benchmark for professional productivity tools. This indicates that the AI Agent collaboration model will become the core framework for future content production.
