Manus Unveils Paid Subscriptions and Mobile App

Manus AI, the buzzworthy AI agent platform from China, rolled out two new subscription options on Monday morning, starting at just $39 a month.
Even though Manus is still in its beta phase, it's an AI-driven tool designed to tackle tasks like whipping up a wedding invitation webpage or putting together a scoring sheet for a baseball game. But, let's be real, in our hands-on tests, it didn't quite live up to the hype it's been throwing around.
The more budget-friendly of Manus' new premium plans will set you back $39 a month and throws in 3,900 credits, letting you juggle two tasks at once. On the other hand, their pricier option, at $199 a month, hooks you up with 19,900 credits, the ability to run five tasks simultaneously, and you get priority access when things get busy.
If you're a premium subscriber and find yourself running low on credits, Manus lets you buy more with top-up packs. Though, gotta say, the prices on those weren't spelled out right away.
Manus took to X to explain, "While we're working hard around the clock to scale our infrastructure and accommodate everyone, we've had to temporarily limit access to Manus during our this development phase. We are also working on optimizing our current usage rates to provide better value for our users."
And hey, Manus didn't stop there with the updates. They dropped an iOS app today and upgraded the AI brains behind the operation to Anthropic's Claude 3.7 Sonnet.

This Manus AI sounds intriguing, but $39/month for a beta feels steep. Wonder if it’s as slick as they claim for creating wedding pages! 😅 Still, cool to see China pushing AI boundaries.
Manus AI's new subscription model is pretty cool, but $39 a month is a bit steep for me, especially since it's still in beta. The mobile app is slick, though, and it's great for quick tasks like making a wedding invite page. Maybe they'll drop the price once it's out of beta? 🤔
Manus AI's new subscription model is pretty cool! $39 a month is a steal for all the features they offer. I used it to create a wedding invite and it was super easy. Only wish it had more templates to choose from. Still, a solid tool! 😊
