On April 28, Lovable officially launched its no-code AI app builder for iOS and Android. Centered on the "Vibe Coding" concept, the platform lets users capture ideas via voice or text prompts and instantly develop apps on mobile devices. Users can seamlessly switch between computers and phones to continue projects and receive notifications when a version is ready for review.
This launch coincides with Apple tightening policies on "Vibe Coding" apps. Recently, Apple banned updates for tools like Replit and Vibecode, citing guideline violations and security risks, and temporarily removed similar apps such as Anything. Regulations prohibit apps from downloading new code or modifying their own functions within the host environment. To ensure compliance, Lovable moved its app preview to a web browser, positioning itself as a tool for generating "runnable websites or web applications."
