Keep’s Keepace.ai clears national large model filing, marking a compliance milestone for AI sports vertical

On August 19, fitness technology firm Keep officially confirmed that its proprietary sports and health large language model, Keepace.ai, has successfully passed both national and Beijing municipal filing requirements. With the assigned filing number Beijing-KeepaceAI-202606250253, this milestone signals that AI integration within the fitness sector is rapidly moving toward standardization and widespread adoption.
Tracing its origins, Keepace.ai was first unveiled alongside the launch of Keep App version 9.0 in April of this year. Built upon billions of fitness records accumulated by Keep over the last decade, the model benefits from expert guidance by the Capital University of Physical Education and Sports. This collaboration ensures that the algorithm maintains high standards of professionalism and safety within the fitness domain.
Regarding real-world applications, Keepace.ai currently focuses on three key areas: automated workout plan generation, expert-level fitness Q&A, and detailed analysis of exercise metrics. By synthesizing a user’s physical profile, fitness objectives, medical history, and comprehensive activity data, the system delivers highly tailored exercise recommendations for individual users.
Looking forward, Keep plans to expand its investments in funding and technology for AI research and product innovation. The company aims to drive the practical implementation of advanced AI capabilities across the fitness and wellness industries while actively exploring and launching new commercial opportunities.
