Higgsfield Secures $400M Series B, Valuation Hits $5.4B

Higgsfield, an AI video creation platform, has secured $400 million in Series B funding, pushing its valuation to $5.4 billion. This marks a remarkable surge from $1.3 billion just eight months prior, representing a more than fourfold increase. DST Global led the investment, joined by Goldman Sachs’ alternative investment fund, Valor Capital, and Tribe Capital.
Founded in 2023 by Alex Mashrabov, a former Snap executive, Higgsfield specializes in AI-powered image and video generation. The company previously made waves by presenting AI-generated films at the Cannes and New York Film Festivals. It has since launched Cinema Studio and Marketing Studio, catering specifically to film production and marketing advertising needs.
Higgsfield reports annualized revenue of $700 million, serving 30 million users across 200 countries and partnering with 390 Fortune 500 companies. Mashrabov notes that enterprise clients are rapidly integrating AI video into marketing and creative workflows, making the B2B sector one of the company’s fastest-growing segments.
The new capital will fund hiring, product development, and critical infrastructure for computing power. Mashrabov highlights that video generation is among the most resource-intensive AI tasks, requiring processing power equivalent to 60,000 words for just one minute of video. As competition with rivals like Synthesia and Runway heats up, securing reliable computing resources remains vital for scaling products and driving commercial success.
