Powered by this "brain," Gree aims to evolve home appliances from passive tools to proactive assistants. Essentially, future Gree products will anticipate needs by learning user habits and environmental cues, adjusting settings for optimal comfort before a command is even given.
Gree's venture into chip development has faced scrutiny, but data revealed at the event offered a compelling response: cumulative shipments of the Gree EAi chip have surpassed 8 million units, while its industrial-grade MCU chips are approaching 200 million units shipped. These figures mark Gree's successful transition from lab research to mass production, and from consumer to industrial applications.
During the conference, Gree launched several new appliances featuring its latest chips and showcased its advancements in industrial products and smart equipment. For Gree, in-house chip development not only mitigates supply chain risks but also forms the foundation for a comprehensive, intelligent home ecosystem.
