Google Shopping undergoes major overhaul

Every day, over a billion folks turn to Google to shop, whether they're virtually trying on outfits, using Lens to shop what they see, or just hunting for the best deals. We've been cranking up the AI to make your shopping experience smoother, and today, we're rolling out a brand new Google Shopping—totally rebuilt with AI at its core. We've taken the 45 billion product listings from our Shopping Graph and mixed them with Gemini models to give you a personalized shopping home, starting in the U.S. from today and spreading out over the next few weeks.
Upgrading shopping research with the help of AI
The revamped Google Shopping uses AI to smartly highlight the most relevant products, making your shopping research a breeze. Now, you'll get an AI-crafted summary with key points to consider for your search, alongside products tailored to your needs. Say you're on the hunt for a winter jacket—like me, but you need one that'll keep you warm and dry in the Pacific Northwest.
Here's the deal: Search for "Men's winter jacket for Seattle," and you'll get an AI brief with the essentials to know before splashing out on a new coat for that climate. We'll show you products recommended by various sources online, explaining why they're a good match for you. You'll also see categories that help you sort through different types of jackets more easily. If you're the type who loves to dig deeper, just click through to relevant articles on the web.
Plus, your search results will come with dynamic filters to help you narrow down your choices—like if you need a specific size or something you can grab nearby, right now. This new setup also includes our virtual try-on feature, powered by generative AI and AR shopping tools, so you can shop with more confidence.
Bringing you more personalized results
Shopping's all about you, which is why the new Google Shopping home page has a personalized feed to spark your interest with products and videos tailored to your tastes. And since most of us take our time researching purchases, Google Shopping lets you jump back into your search right where you left off. Just tap the Google Shopping logo or head to shopping.google.com to check out your feed.
If you ever feel like tweaking or turning off your personalized results, it's easy—just hit the Google Shopping menu and tap "Shopping preferences" at the bottom of the page.
Finding the best prices from the best places
We know you're always on the lookout for bargains, and the new Google Shopping's got you covered with tools like price comparison, price insights, and price tracking. Plus, there's a new, personalized deals page where you can browse deals just for you—click the "Deals" link at the top of your page to dive in.
Google Shopping lets you browse every store in one spot—and we're always working on new ways for brands to reach you directly, whether through AI shopping aids or rich product listing ads.
As you explore the new Google Shopping, you might spot an "experimental" tag on the AI-generated summaries. That's because this feature's still in the testing phase and might not always hit the mark—so we'd love for you to share your feedback through the three-dot menu on the brief to help us refine it. You can access the new Google Shopping via the "Shopping Tab" on Google Search or by visiting shopping.google.com. The new Google Shopping is rolling out across the U.S. over the coming weeks, starting today.

This Google Shopping upgrade sounds slick! AI making deals easier to find is a win, but I wonder if it’ll push smaller stores out of the spotlight. 🛍️ Still, virtual try-ons? Count me in!
