On March 9, Google formally inaugurated a new "Google AI Center" in central Berlin, Germany. This integrated "land, sea, and air" strategy forms the cornerstone of Google’s massive €5.5 billion (approximately 42 billion yuan) investment initiative. The funding is projected to continue through 2029. Beyond the Berlin research hub, Google is also preparing to construct a new data center in Ditzingen, Hesse, while upgrading its existing facilities in Munich and Frankfurt.
