The latest update means Gemini can now tap into your past conversations to give you spot-on responses without you having to go over old chats or hunt down specific threads. But that's not all—Gemini can now summarize those previous chats and help you build on projects you've been working on. Google had already started letting Gemini remember your preferences, but this update cranks things up a notch by allowing the chatbot to dive into your past discussions.
Keeping control in your hands, you can easily review, delete, or manage your chat history with Gemini. Just hit your profile picture in the top right corner of the app and choose "Gemini Apps Activity." It's that simple.
Rollout and Availability
The recall feature is currently rolling out to those with a Google One AI Premium subscription. You can give it a whirl in English on Gemini's web or mobile app. Google has plans to expand this feature to more languages and to Google Workspace Business and Enterprise customers in the coming weeks.
