The financial services sector faces a persistent pilot problem. Institutions invest heavily in AI proof-of-concepts, create impressive dashboards, only to see progress stall before solutions ever reach live operation. Singapore-based Dyna.Ai was founded to break this cycle—and investors are now backing that mission with significant capital.
The AI-as-a-Service firm has secured an eight-figure Series A funding round. The investment was led by Singapore-based venture capital fund Lion X Ventures, advised by OCBC Bank's Mezzanine Capital Unit. Additional participants include ADATA, a Taiwan-listed technology company, a Korean financial institution, and a group of seasoned finance industry veterans.
This new capital will accelerate the rollout of what Dyna.Ai terms its agentic AI financial services platform—a platform already active across banks and financial institutions in Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East.
Execution Over Experimentation
What distinguishes Dyna.Ai from the broader wave of enterprise AI startups is its focused specialization. Founded in 2024, the company positioned itself not as a general-purpose AI platform but as an execution-focused partner for regulated environments—where compliance, auditability, and governance are fundamental requirements, not optional extras.
Its platform integrates domain-specific expertise, AI agent builders, pre-configured task agents, and fully operational agentic applications designed to run within defined workflows. Promoted under a "Results-as-a-Service" model, the core proposition is that enterprises need less experimentation and more AI that operates within their industry's constraints to deliver measurable outcomes from the start.
"While much of the industry focused on how broadly AI could be applied, we concentrated early on a specific, urgent problem and built our solution with tangible results in mind," stated Dyna.Ai Chairman and Co-founder Tomas Skoumal.
Why Investors Are Betting On This Moment
The timing of this funding round is noteworthy. Across the region, the enterprise AI conversation has shifted from whether to adopt the technology to how to implement it successfully. Irene Guo, CEO of Lion X Ventures, clearly articulated the prevailing investor sentiment.
"Enterprise AI is entering a phase where execution and measurable outcomes matter more than experimentation. Dyna.Ai differentiates itself through deep domain expertise, operational discipline, and the ability to deploy agentic AI within complex, regulated enterprise environments," Guo remarked.
This regulatory aspect is where most institutions encounter significant friction. Agentic AI—systems capable of autonomous decision-making and task execution within set parameters—carries a different risk profile compared to standard AI models that merely generate recommendations.
In banking and insurance especially, these agents must trigger workflows, update records, and manage documentation with complete audit trails. Achieving this requires more than powerful models; it necessitates a governance architecture built into the product's foundation.
Cynthia Siantar, Dyna.Ai’s Head of Investor Relations and General Manager for Singapore and Hong Kong, highlighted a clear shift in regional enterprise buyers' approach: "The focus has moved beyond pilots and experimentation to how AI can be deployed in daily operations to deliver genuine business results."
A Market That's Ready
The macroeconomic context supports this growing demand. Southeast Asia's AI market is projected to surpass US$16 billion by 2033. The financial services sector—traditionally held back by legacy systems and regulatory caution—is increasingly viewed as one of the highest-value applications for agentic AI deployment.
The composition of the investor syndicate is itself revealing. The participation of a Korean financial institution, alongside OCBC-advised capital and a Taiwan-listed tech firm, signals a cross-border appetite spanning both the buy-side and technology infrastructure aspects of the industry.
For the broader sector, Dyna.Ai's Series A round is a data point in a larger trend: the shelf life for endless AI pilots is shrinking. Enterprises unable to transition from proof-of-concept to production—within the compliance frameworks their regulators demand—will increasingly turn to specialists who can.
The pilot phase had its time. Now the real work begins.
