Doubao Unveils Skills, Connectors, and Work Partners to Transform Chat Assistant Into Smart Office Platform
Doubao has recently upgraded its task mode with three new features—skills, connectors, and work partners—significantly boosting its collaborative office capabilities. With over 200 skills and connectors already available, the platform also empowers users to create custom skills for standardized workflows.
Skills help users preserve personalized workflows. For instance, formatting and content standards used in weekly reports can be saved as a personal skill for one-click reuse, effectively automating mature processes. Connectors integrate Doubao with various office tools; using the Feishu connector, for example, allows users to search and manage tasks directly within the app, eliminating the need to switch pages or manually upload files.

Work partners offer specialized AI agents across fields like data analysis, content planning, research, and finance. Users can assemble teams to tackle complex tasks. For a data research report, for example, agents specializing in data, research, and design can collaborate to leverage their strengths and streamline multi-step workflows.
These three features can be used independently or combined freely. Users can maintain work standards via skills, fetch external data through connectors, and collaborate with AI agents from various domains to complete tasks efficiently.
Access Doubao’s desktop side panel and click “Skills · Connectors · Partners” to try it out. This update marks Doubao’s evolution from a conversational assistant to a comprehensive intelligent office platform, simplifying complex workflows and enhancing work quality and efficiency.
