According to its official website and senior researcher Chen Deli, DeepSeek is currently forming a "Harness" team to fully develop a desktop-level intelligent programming product, with its main internal rival being Anthropic's Claude Code.
DeepSeek's Beijing headquarters is now hiring for key roles such as Agent Harness product manager and R&D engineer, with clear requirements for deep experience using mainstream AI agent tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Manus, as well as familiarity with vibe coding and other cutting-edge development practices.
