CUDIS Unveils AI-Powered Health Ring Featuring Digital Coaching

Wearables startup CUDIS is introducing its latest series of health rings this week. The new model includes several advanced features, most notably an AI "agent coach" that helps users stay consistent and achieve their fitness objectives.
CUDIS sets itself apart from other wearable brands by not only tracking health data but also motivating healthy habits through a rewards program. Users earn digital "health points" for positive actions—such as getting sufficient sleep, hitting 10,000 daily steps, engaging in sports, and interacting with the AI coach. These points can be exchanged in an integrated marketplace for discounts on wellness supplements and related products.
The ring's AI Agent Coach utilizes generative AI to create personalized plans for exercise and overall well-being. According to the company, the agent develops customized programs featuring daily tasks, recovery plans, supplement advice, and direct connections to licensed healthcare providers.
The device also monitors a wide range of body metrics and daily habits, including sleep quality, stress levels, physical activity, and recovery. This data helps users understand their impact on the Pace of Aging (PoA), revealing whether their biological age is advancing faster or slower than their actual age.
CUDIS CEO and co-founder Edison Chen shared with TechCrunch that since the company's first wearable launched in 2024, it has sold more than 30,000 units across its initial two models. The accompanying app has also grown to 250,000 users across 103 countries.
"Our strongest markets so far have been North America, Europe, and Asia," Chen stated. "Our expertise lies in pattern recognition for health-conscious individuals seeking optimization."
"The AI detects when you're moving in an unhealthy direction—such as ongoing poor sleep, dropping HRV, or a rising resting heart rate—and then recommends lifestyle adjustments or connects you to a professional. The system manages the escalation process to ensure you receive appropriate care," he explained.
