Apple Unveils $20 Subscription for Extended Device Protection
Apple is introducing a new subscription service named AppleCare One, allowing you to protect multiple devices under one plan. For $19.99 per month, AppleCare One covers up to three products, with each additional device costing $5.99 per month.
Devices enrolled in AppleCare One receive the same benefits as AppleCare Plus, such as battery service coverage, unlimited accidental damage repairs, and round-the-clock priority technical support.

Subscribers to AppleCare One can include devices up to four years old—significantly longer than the 60-day eligibility period for adding AppleCare Plus after purchase. However, Apple notes that older products must be in good working condition and may require diagnostic tests before enrollment. Additionally, headphones can only be added to an AppleCare One plan if they are less than one year old.
Theft and Loss coverage, available for iPad and Apple Watch under AppleCare Plus, is automatically included for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch devices covered by AppleCare One.
According to Apple, enrollment for AppleCare One will be available via iPhone, iPad, or Mac, as well as in Apple Stores, starting July 24th.
AppleCare One represents Apple's continued expansion into subscription services, following the launch of Apple One, which bundles various Apple services into a single package. Last quarter, the company reported record-breaking revenue from its services division.
