Anthropic is gearing up to launch a new "voice mode" feature that could give OpenAI's ChatGPT a run for its money, according to *Bloomberg*. This exciting AI voice assistant is set to be integrated into Anthropic's Claude AI chatbot, with a possible rollout "as soon as this month."
*Bloomberg* reports that Anthropic is planning to introduce three distinct English-language voices: Airy, Mellow, and Buttery. This isn't the first whisper we've heard about this potential feature. Anthropic's chief product officer, Mike Kreiger, spilled the beans in an interview with the *Financial Times* last month, saying, "We will do voice internally, too; it is a useful modality to have. We have prototypes."
