You can access free Gemini Gems on Android and iOS now - where to find them
Google has recently rolled out its innovative feature, Gemini Gems, to all users following its initial announcement last fall. If you're new to this, Gemini Gems offers a personalized AI assistant experience. You have the option to select from Google's pre-existing templates or craft your own by setting specific instructions.
What makes Gemini Gems unique compared to the standard Gemini usage is the ability to tailor instructions specifically for each Gem. This feature is particularly useful if you utilize Gemini for various purposes at different times, such as crafting social media posts, blog entries, and formal reports for the same organization.

The currently available Gems include:
- A learning coach designed to simplify complex subjects for better understanding.
- A brainstormer that sparks inspiration for everything from party themes to birthday gift ideas.
- A career guide to help you maximize your career potential with detailed skill development plans.
- A writing editor that enhances your writing with insightful feedback on grammar and structure.

Finally! Been waiting for this since the fall announcement. Just tried setting up a custom 'Recipe Explainer' gem on my Pixel and it's pretty slick. Makes me wonder how this will stack up against custom GPTs in the long run. The personalization angle is a smart move by Google. 👍
This Gemini Gems thing sounds cool! I love how you can tweak it to fit your vibe, like a custom AI buddy. Gotta try making one for my D&D campaign planning! 😎
