蘋果任命Vision Pro領導者負責Siri Development
根據最近的Bloomberg報導，蘋果正進行重大領導層變動，取代Siri負責人。此變動發生在公司宣布推遲備受期待的AI功能推出不久後。負責領導Vision Pro開發的Mike Rockwell將接替John Giannandrea，成為AI與Siri的新領導者。
取代Giannandrea的決定源於蘋果執行長Tim Cook據報對Giannandrea帶領公司AI計劃的能力失去信心。本月早些時候，蘋果告知Daring Fireball，Siri的生成AI增強功能推出將推遲至「來年」，因為開發「比我們預想的耗時更長」。根據Bloomberg報導，在一次會議中，Siri團隊內部緊張氣氛顯而易見，蘋果高級總監Robby Walker形容AI開發情況「很糟糕」。
由於此次變動，John Giannandrea將不再監督Siri團隊。根據Bloomberg，在Rockwell領導下負責Vision Pro硬體工程的Paule Meade將接任Vision Pro團隊負責人。
