SpaceX AI launches dedicated email feature for Grok Bot, enabling AI assistants to act as independent digital entities with mail.grokbot.com addresses. Users can claim custom prefixes to facilitate complex tasks like service registration, merchant communication, and schedule management. Positioned as a permanent AI colleague, Grok Bot runs on cloud computers with persistent context, supporting long-running background tasks and integrating with tools for content monitoring and inventory management. This update expands AI capabilities in real productivity scenarios, though rollout and permissions are currently being phased in by official release.
