RayNeo unveiled its new iO series of AI glasses at a launch event in 2026. The first model, RayNeo iO, is priced at 2499 yuan with a promotional price of 1996 yuan, targeting users needing prescriptions up to 1000 diopters. It is now available on major e-commerce platforms and offline stores. According to industry data, RayNeo led global and Chinese AR glasses shipments in Q1 2026. The device uses a dual-eye display architecture and Blue Lake waveguide technology, offering a 93% light transmission rate for the display area and over 98% for non-display areas, along with 1800 nits of eye illumination equivalent to a 33-inch screen and DC dimming. It features a lightweight frame weighing 34 grams and a small “Fenghuo Light Engine Nano” component. The glasses support Smart Crown controls, nod recognition, shake cancellation, and can display weather, schedules, and to-do lists. For AI functions, they initially integrate DeepSeek V4Pro and Qwen 3.7Max, with future support for Kimi K3 and RayNeo’s own AI model. The battery lasts up to two days, and the all-day memory engine creates 24-hour context summaries. Real-time prompt detection allows reference answers on the lens, while translation is available in 55 languages and 109 accents, along with an AI scripter feature. Privacy protections include a camera-free design, an always-on privacy indicator that cannot be disabled, anonymization of conversation data on device, and options to export, migrate, or delete data.
