Gemini Live adds a multi step research function that works in the background until results are ready, and it can now produce functional 3D simulations. A dedicated learning center within Gemini aggregates all these tools, allowing users to create study notebooks and flashcards. These updates position Gemini as a competitor to OpenAI and other edtech startups in the student AI assistant market.
