AI video generation platform Higgsfield has raised $400 million from investors including DST Global, Goldman Sachs, Liberty Global, and Intel, taking its valuation to $5.4 billion. Founded in 2025 by former Snapchat executive Alex Mashrabov, the two-year-old startup now has over 30 million users across 238 countries and regions, with the US being its largest market. Its annual revenue reached $7 billion in August 2025, up from $20 million a year earlier. The company previously raised $80 million at a $1.3 billion valuation just eight months prior. Mashrabov said the new funding will speed up expansion into premium enterprise services, shifting its focus from teen entertainment filters to helping large businesses create marketing content more efficiently. Hundreds of direct-to-consumer brands now use Higgsfield to generate multiple videos daily instead of one per campaign, allowing social teams to accelerate content updates while cutting costs associated with creative agencies.
