The Open Security AI Alliance (OSAA), launched by NVIDIA a week ago, has grown to over 120 members and formed the SAFE working group focused on AI incident reporting, notifications, and post-mortem analysis. The Linux Foundation manages the initiative. Members contribute open-source security tools like NVIDIA's Garak and Okta's agent identity solutions. Adobe, Cisco, Intel, Microsoft, and Visa are members; OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google have not joined. OSAA aims to strengthen the US open-source AI ecosystem amid regulatory debates.
