SenseTime has open-sourced SenseNova U1.5-Lite-Preview, a lightweight multimodal model with 8B-MoT parameters. Based on NEO-unify architecture, it supports native 4K image generation, improved text rendering, and stable image editing. Available on GitHub, Hugging Face, and ModelScope, it lowers barriers for AI application development.

Melbourne and UNSW researchers introduce VoxMem, a new benchmark exposing critical flaws in current voice AI memory evaluation. Unlike prior methods that ignore audio nuances, VoxMem isolates conversation length to test recall of speaker identity, tone, and background sounds across 34,743 audio instances.
