OpenAI has launched the ChatGPT for Academic Researchers program, initially offering 10,000 selected university researchers an advanced version with higher usage limits and larger context windows. Each participant can invite four colleagues for free. The program aims to expand to 100,000 researchers and introduces extended research features for insights from scientific journals.
