NVIDIA is in talks to provide a 25 billion dollar financing guarantee for OpenAI to lease a 10-gigawatt data center in Ohio developed by a SoftBank unit. The total project could exceed 50 billion dollars. The deal aims to secure better debt terms for loss-making OpenAI and involves US-Japan trade agreements. First phase completion is expected by 2028.
