A man in Hengshan County used AI to forge images of rotten fruit to fraudulently obtain refunds on over 100 orders totaling 16,000 yuan from Oct 2025 to Jan 2026. He used 75 phones and sold the good fruit cheaply. The county was blacklisted by e-commerce platforms. He was arrested and received a heavier sentence as a repeat offender.
