OpenRouter launched Prompt Caching and Sticky Routing to cut token costs for multi-turn agent conversations. Prompt Caching reduces repeated prompt costs by reading from cache (0.1–0.5x normal price), while Sticky Routing directs subsequent requests to the same provider holding the hot cache. Developers must set a session_id to enable the feature.
