OpenAI launched a new ChatGPT voice experience based on the GPT-Live architecture, featuring a full-duplex design that enables real-time listening, speaking, and thinking. It uses the GPT-Realtime-2 model with GPT-5-level reasoning, supports natural interruptions, and provides human-like feedback. Two versions are released: GPT-Live-1 for paid users and GPT-Live-1 mini for free users, both accessible via API.
