Beijing AI Research Institute and partner hospitals launched the BAAI Cardiac Agent, the industry's first multi-modal AI diagnostic agent for cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR). It uses an Agent-Expert architecture to automate the entire process from image segmentation and analysis to functional assessment and disease diagnosis classification. This end-to-end system reduces manual work, improves clinical efficiency and standardization, and demonstrates AI's potential to assist complex medical imaging diagnostics.
