Google expands its "Gemini in Chrome" AI feature to more Asia-Pacific countries, including Australia, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Vietnam. The rollout begins April 20, 2026. The feature integrates AI assistance directly into the browser's address bar and sidebar, enabling tasks like summarizing web pages, scheduling via Calendar, and editing images with text prompts. Access requires a Google account and users must be 18+. Some advanced features are limited to US subscribers of Google AI Pro/Ultra.
