China unveils Feiyu-1.0, the world's first AI-driven ocean-atmosphere coupled large model specifically for the South China Sea. Jointly developed by Chinese research institutes, it intelligently simulates sea-air interactions, enables precise forecasting of currents and temperature, and features a novel Multi-Expert System for efficiency. Its lightweight design allows deployment on research vessels for real-time, edge-side applications in weather prediction and maritime safety.
