Voice AI startup ElevenLabs raised $500 million in a round led by Sequoia Capital, valuing the company at $11 billion, triple its valuation a year ago. Its annual recurring revenue stands at $330 million. The funding will fuel global expansion and a shift toward developing multimodal AI agents capable of handling text, voice, video, and actions.

iFLYTEK launched Spark-Audio-1.0-Preview, a fully domestic speech foundation model trained on local compute. It supports text and speech input with text output, handling transcription, translation, and dialect recognition across 99 languages and 202 dialects.
