    • Generative AI image editing that's about to hit all campaign types, letting you add, remove, or swap out objects in your images.
    • Asset generation rolling out to App and Display campaigns, so you can keep the creative juices flowing.
    • Easy access to creative tools right from the "Create" menu—no more digging around.
    • A cool new partnership with Typeface, making it a breeze to use their platform's assets in Google Ads and Performance Max.

Peek Behind the Curtain: Asset Performance and Brand Suitability

Thanks to your feedback, we're rolling out conversion metrics in Performance Max asset reporting worldwide. This way, you can spot which assets are driving those sweet conversions and tweak your creative strategy accordingly. Use this data to find the gems that are boosting your conversion volume or value, then jazz up your asset mix with tools like asset generation, image editing, and video creation to nail that perfect Ad Strength.

Check out the conversion data for your assets with asset-level reporting. You can tweak the columns to see different conversion metrics. We're also rolling out YouTube video placement reporting for Performance Max, so you can make sure your ads are showing up in places that match your brand's vibe. If you spot a video that's not quite right, you can use account-level placement exclusions in the content suitability center to keep your ads away from it in the future.

And don't forget about third-party verification with YouTube brand safety partners for Performance Max. It's another layer of protection to ensure your video placements are on point. For Display placements, you can request third-party measurement implementation to check the brand safety of your Display inventory, just like you can with Display campaigns.

Get Creative with AI-Powered Image Editing

Back in June, we started rolling out some slick image editing features to help you whip up more image variations and use them across different formats and sizes. You can now:

  • Zap objects out of an image
  • Add or swap in new objects with a simple prompt
  • Stretch out backgrounds
  • Crop to fit different aspect ratios
Edit your images by adding, replacing, or removing objects within them.

These features are now available globally in English for all advertisers, with more languages coming soon. Next month, we'll start rolling out image editing to more campaign types beyond Performance Max, including Demand Gen campaigns.

Asset Generation Gets Better and Goes Beyond Performance Max

Generative AI is your new best friend for quickly building fresh creative assets. But we know performance is what really matters to you. Since we first launched asset generation in Performance Max last year, we've been tweaking our image generation model. It's now fine-tuned with advertising performance data to help you create better images and hit your performance goals faster.

And we're not stopping there—we're bringing these generative powers to other campaign types too. We added image generation to Demand Gen campaigns earlier this year, and now asset generation is rolling out to both App and Display campaigns. App campaigns will come with enhanced asset reporting to help you make smarter optimization choices.

We've also made it easier to generate images in Google Ads. Just head to the "Create" menu, and you'll find an option to add assets without having to start a new campaign.

Select "Asset" in the "Create" menu to generate images, create videos, and upload assets. If you're running a Performance Max or Search campaign, you'll see extra options to add sitelinks, callouts, and more. **Boosting Asset Variety with Our Creative Partners** If your creative team loves working on other platforms, we've got you covered. Creating a wide range of assets is key, but moving them from one platform to Google Ads can be a hassle. That's why we've teamed up with creative platforms to make the process smoother. Earlier this year, we announced partnerships with Canva, Smartly, and Pencil, and now Typeface is joining the party. With Typeface's integration into the Google Ads API, you can easily use assets created on their platform in your campaigns. Plus, Typeface offers templates for creating images and text that follow best practices for Performance Max campaigns, helping your team scale and achieve better results.
