Xiaopeng Robotics has completed its first round of financing at over 900 million USD, achieving a post-money valuation of more than 6.3 billion USD, the highest in China’s embodied intelligence sector. IDG Capital led the round along with Gao Rong Venture Capital, while Tencent and Alibaba acted as strategic investors, with Xiaopeng Group retaining control. All four parties consider it one of the largest single investments in embodied intelligence to date. The company’s humanoid robots are deemed at the leading level in China and capable of global competition. The funds will help establish a valuation system for the business, speed up mass production of humanoid robots and AI model development, and advance the commercial rollout of advanced general-purpose humanoid robots globally. The investment also signals growing interest from top financial and strategic players in the embodied intelligence sector, as the industry shifts toward large-scale implementation rather than just technical testing.

AI is accelerating software vulnerability discovery, with 2026 numbers expected to double 2025's record. In 2025, US National Vulnerability Database recorded 45,207 flaws by July. Oracle fixed 1,449 vulnerabilities in July, Microsoft 642, and Google 433 Chrome flaws, all records. However, actual attacks have not kept pace, as many vulnerabilities are found internally by companies' own AI tools.
