Mozilla rolled out new features for its Firefox AI Smart Window in a recent test version. The current English beta is available only to users in the US and Canada. It adds automatic tab group recommendations based on relevance and a duplicate tab detector that lets users close repeat pages with one click, cutting information management costs in multi-tab browsing. The feature integrates with Exa, an AI search company, to fetch latest web content alongside source links directly within Smart Window. Users can also search their browsing history via natural language commands, such as asking for previously viewed shows. Future updates will combine recent history, related tabs, and past data to help users resume tasks or fill out forms.
