Enterprise WeChat 5.0.10 was released on August 18, introducing enhanced AI features. It fully exposes CLI and MCP capabilities, enabling various AI agents including WorkBuddy, Codex and in-house ones to connect directly via the Intelligent Robot and access office functions such as messages, documents, spreadsheets, emails and meetings. This open access is available regardless of company size. The upgrade embeds AI development tools into enterprise collaboration scenarios, shifting Enterprise WeChat from a traditional office platform to a full-scale entry point for AI agents in corporate workflows.
