OpenAI is shutting down its ChatGPT Atlas browser on August 9, 2025, after less than 10 months of service. Users must manually export bookmarks and history as HTML files and import them into other browsers; cookies cannot be exported, requiring re-logins to all websites. After shutdown, Atlas will fail to open web pages and pose security risks.
