Alibaba launched Qwen3.8-Max, a 2.4-trillion-parameter foundation model, with enhanced performance in coding and professional tasks. It ranked second on the Arena leaderboard behind Anthropic's Claude. The API is live on Qwen AI and integrated into Qwen Office. Both Qwen3.8-Max and Qwen3.8-27B will be open-sourced next week.
