Nexus Data Centers is in talks for a $1.5 billion financing to build an AI data center for Anthropic in Texas, backed by Google as guarantor and chip supplier. Google will provide billions in debt guarantees if Anthropic defaults, expecting a 20% equity return. The facility will use Google and Broadcom designed TPU chips.
