Ant Group is secretly testing an AI-powered version of Alipay with a built-in assistant named Abao. Users can issue voice or text commands to handle payments and lifestyle services, replacing complex menu navigation. Alipay aims to evolve from a payment tool into an intelligent super assistant. No release date has been announced.
