SK Group plans to build a semiconductor factory in Japan and establish its first overseas AI factory with Nvidia, integrating SK memory and Nvidia GPUs into a gigawatt-level data center. The project aims to be operational within 2-3 years. SK also seeks deep cooperation with Japanese firms like Kioxia, Rapidus, and Tokyo Electron to link South Korean and Japanese semiconductor supply chains.
