Asana has acquired workflow automation startup StackAI for $75 million, integrating its no-code AI agents into enterprise systems like Salesforce and Slack. StackAI founders join Asana to advance the AI-native office platform strategy. Funded by Y Combinator and others, StackAI raised nearly $20 million. Asana aims to become the operating system for human-machine teams despite competition from Zapier and AI labs. The deal comes as Asana’s market value halved since ChatGPT launched, but CEO Dan Rogers remains confident in next-gen human-machine collaboration.
