Alibaba Cloud announced a full-stack upgrade for the Agentic Era at its 2026 summit. The overhaul centers on its new Zhenwu M890 AI chip and Panjiu AL128 server, enabling nanosecond-level cluster communication. It launched the AI-native Qwen Cloud platform, where agents can directly install standardized Skills to access over 150 models and cloud services. The integrated chip-cloud-model-inference system is designed to handle the irregular, high-concurrency workloads of AI agents, shifting focus from human-aligned dialogue to task completion. This positions Alibaba Cloud as an AI factory rather than a traditional computing power provider.
